NewsIndian army stands exposed, its claims about infiltration from Pakistan falsified

Replicating its preceding assertions, India has once again made false claims of Pakistan’s involvement in infiltration attempt by militants into the Occupied Kashmir. However Indian fresh allegations have also turned out to be fabricated.

In a Press Conference on September 4, 2019, the Indian XV Corps Commander Lt General KS Dhilon alleged that the Indian army had apprehended two Pakistanis namely Khalil and Nazeem from Gulmarg Sector of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) on August 21, 2019.

The Indian Commander alleged that the captives were affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a militant outfit. He said that Khalil hailed from Rawalpindi whereas Nazeem was from Quetta, the Provincial Capital of Pakistan’s southern Balochistan province bordering Afghanistan.

Lt General KS Dhilon accused Pakistan of helping militants to infiltrate into the Kashmir valley to disrupt peace.

They also played a fabricated confessional video of the held Pakistanis in which they confessed to be associated with LeT.

The Press Conference by Lt General KS Dhilon was widely telecast by the Indian media in its jingoism.

However contrary to India’s claims about two Pakistanis having been apprehended while intruding into Jammu and Kashmir, an investigation into the matter found Indian allegations fabricated and baseless.

As per the findings, both Khalil Ahmed S/O Abdul and Muhammad Nazeem S/O Muhammad Arif Khan are residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and are unmarried.

Khalil Ahmed is the resident of Village Teda Ban, Tehsil Haveli (now District Haveli), AJK while Muhammad Nazeem is the resident of Village Hundi Khatana (Forward Kahuta), District Haveli, AJK.

Their identification have also been verified by their computerised national identity cards (CNICs).

The investigation further revealed that these individuals were actually abducted by the Indian security forces near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kellar Sub Sector (Forward Kahuta) on August 21, 2019 while they were cutting grass.

Even a day after on August 22, their family members also lodged complaints about their disappearance.

Sources said that Indian army has recently beefed up its presence in the same area, and this information campaign is most probably a ploy by the Indian army to use it as a casus belli and launch an operation in the area.
