Indian forces open unprovoked fire at Poonch Sector: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Indian forces opened unprovoked fire at Poonch sector of Line of Control (LoC) on Friday morning; however, no loss of life was reported, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement, the ISPR said that the Indian forces used mortars and heavy artillery. Subsequently, the Pakistan Army responded to the unprovoked firing effectively and silenced Indian guns.

No loss of life was reported as a result of unprovoked Indian firing, the ISPR said.
