LAHORE, Pakistan: A 38-member delegation of Indian journalists arrived in Lahore on Tuesday to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor.
The Chief Minister Punjab’s Spokesman Dr. Shahbaz GiLL and others received the delegation.
The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar will arrange dinner in honor of Sikh Yatrees at Shahi Qila in Lahore today. The Provincial Cabinet members and others will also attend the dinner.
The ground breaking of the Kartarpur Corridor will be performed by Prime Minister Imran Khan on November 28 to allow Indian Sikh Yatrees ease of access for their most reverential place of worship which has been their longstanding demand.

In a statement today, Usman Buzdar said that establishing Kartarpur Corridor is a historical step and it will help improve Pakistan-India bilateral ties.
Usman Buzdar said that opening of Kartarpur Corridor for the 550th Birth Anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak will help peace efforts, and assured that the Punjab government will provide all possible facilities to the Sikh Community.
The Chief Minister also said that all credit goes to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) which took the initiative of opening Kartarpur Corridor.
