LAHORE, Pakistan: The first batch of Sikh yatrees will arrive from India on Tuesday here at the Wagah railway station by special train to join Besakhi Mela festivities.
Upon arrival at Wagah border, pilgrims will be welcomed by Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman, officers and members of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandak Committee.
According to ETPB, all the arrangements were in place for the provision of best possible facilities to the pilgrims. Air-conditioned coaches have been arranged for senior citizens and special persons among the visitors.
Foolproof security arrangements have been completed for the visit of more than 2500 yatrees likely to attend the ceremonies, it was learnt.
