Terming it a historic day for India’s space sector, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the mission’s success “belongs to all of humanity.”

The Indian Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said the moon landing was a result of “tremendous ingenuity and hard work” by the Country’s scientific community.

“Since 1962, India’s space program has continued to scale new heights and inspire generations of young dreamers,” Rahul Gandhi posted on social media platform X.
