Visiting the Masjid Al Haram in Mecca and performing religious rituals is undeniably one of the most desired deeds, a Muslim has throughout his entire life. And if it happens in the Holy Month of Ramadan, the joy of fulfilling the wish becomes manifold.
But how it is if a couple kicks off the journey of their second part of life together by tying the knot in front of Kaaba at Masjid Al Haram…. Recently an Indonesian couple was blessed with such occurrence when they demonstrated commitment to each other for life at the holiest place on earth.
Accompanied by their close relatives and friends, the Ihram-clad couple exchanged wedding rings and signed the register. They were greeted from the people around with cheers and wishes for a happy and healthy life ahead.
Later, they posed in a picture together showing their wedding rings to the camera.
It’s worth noting that Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim-majority Country, and every year, tens of thousands of Indonesian Muslims travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah and Hajj.
Last Monday, 1.17 million worshipers and Umrah performers reached Masjid Al Haram whereas a day before on Sunday, the total number stood at 1,048,600.
