ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has directed to further beautify the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and make it an informative place for visitors.
He stated this in a meeting of Senate Standing Committee on National Heritage and Integration held at the parliament House under its Chairperson Shirala Malik.
The Minister directed the officials of National Heritage to avoid commercialism in the premises of the mausoleum and focus on promotion of cultural activities.
The Minister also attended as chief guest launching ceremony of Hussain Ahmed Shirazi’s book ‘Babu Nagar’ at Pakistan Academy of Letters.
He paid rich tributes to the author and said the book is a masterpiece of humor in modern Urdu literature.
