ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said all resources will be utilized for early rehabilitation of earthquake affected areas in Balochistan.
Chairing a meeting in Islamabad Nisar said in a statement the federal government would provide every possible assistance to the Provincial government to deal with the situation.
The Minister said army‚ frontier constabulary and all other departments are working round the clock to provide relief to the victims.
Nisar said relief goods including ration food packs‚ tents‚ plastic bags‚ mosquito nets‚ and other essential items have been provided to earthquake affected areas.
He said 52 doctors‚ 71 paramedical staff‚ 41 ambulances and one field hospital are working in the area to provide medical relief to the injured.
Chaudhry Nisar directed the Chairman NDMA‚ Chairman NADRA and DG ERRA to proceed to Balochistan and prepare a consolidated assessment and rehabilitation plan.
The meeting was informed that Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Balochistan Earthquake Affectees has been established and donations can be deposited in this fund in all scheduled Banks.
