FAISALABAD, Pakistan: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan said on Monday the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) would not be allowed at all to spread its network in Pakistan.

Talking to the media, he said the government was making streneous efforts to curb terrorism, adding that whosoever was found involved in facilitating, promoting or recruiting for ISIS (Daish) would be dealt with an iron hand.

As per security agencies reports, he said that about 100 Pakistanis left the country to join militant group, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The security agencies are making hectic efforts to round-up the persons involved in recruiting for the ISIS (Daish) in Pakistan, he added.

Rana Sanaullah claimed that the performance of Punjab government was far better in all respect as compared to other provincial governments.

“We are making all-out efforts to strengthen the security agencies, he said and added that those rounded up from Daska, Sialkot last month were preparing to leave for Syria.”

Rana Sanaullah asked the Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah to provide the ISIS recruiting list to the government so that action could be taken against those involved in it.

He lauded the role of the country’s security forces in eliminating terrorism from the country.
