ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has issued fresh orders to ensure the implementation of directives regarding timings as well as one dish at Marriage Halls in Islamabad.
The orders were issued by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat on Wednesday (January 16, 2019).
“It has been observed that various Wedding Marquees are not following directions regarding timings as well as one dish. This matter was also brought into the knowledge of Islamabad High Court in Write Petition No. 4266/2018 titled “Nimra Chaudhry VS DC Islamabad”. It is therefore, directed that immediate and quick action must be taken from today onwards and take necessary action on any violation and the said premises may be scaled after the function and not be opened without approval of undersigned.”
“Daily report may kindly be submitted to Addl. Deputy Commissioner (G), Islamabad who will be focal person in this regard. Necessary directions to concerned Police Stations may also be conveyed,” said a letter issued from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate ICT, Islamabad.
