ISLAMABAD: Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad was put on ‘red alert’ on Saturday in view of intelligence reports that it might come under terror attack.
According to media reports, security was beefed up at the airport and a large number of security personnel were deployed to avert any untoward situation.
Meanwhile, the entry of relatives of the passengers in the premises of the airport was also banned while sniffer dogs were being used during search operation at the car parking area of the airport.
