ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) recorded 104 COVID-19 Cases on Tuesday, the highest figure since the outbreak engulfed the Capital.
So far 1,138 people have been diagnosed with the Coronavirus in the ICT, 9 have succumbed to the disease while 151 have been recovered.
Prior to May 19, 63 was the highest number of Cases that occurred in a day in Islamabad on May 13; however, yesterday (May 19), the Federal Capital recorded the highest 24-hour jump with 104 new COVID-19 Cases.
The most affected regions witnessing a surge in COVID-19 Cases were Bara Kahu, I-10/1, Shah Allah Ditta, and I-9/4, according to the District Health Officer (DHO) Islamabad Dr. Zaeem Zia.

Yesterday, 1,608 COVID-19 Tests were conducted in the Islamabad Capital Territory which found 104 people positive.
However, 38 patients got recovered from the Coronavirus in the ICT while no death was recorded on May 19.
By May 19, 68 percent COVID-19 patients in Islamabad were male while 32 percent were female.
