ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad Serena Hotel is hosting the Nowruz Celebration on Sunday (March 24, 2019) under its Cultural Diplomacy Initiative.
The event will take place from 01:30 pm to 05:00 pm at Serena Hotel on March 24.
The Serena Hotel is organizing the event in Collaboration with the Diplomatic Missions of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and United Nations (UN).
The Serena Hotel Management has declared the event open for public; however the aspirants have been asked to arrive with the printed invitation.

Nowruz is the first day of New Year in Central Asian Countries, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran as well as Turkey. Nowruz is celebrated with cooking food, wearing new cloths, meeting friends and cleaning every corner of the house.
The people celebrate Nowruz for 13 days starting from March 21.
Nowruz is also called as Noruz, Nowruz, Nowrooz, and Nawruz, meaning “New Day,” because it marks the first day of the Persian “New Year”.
