ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has devised special traffic plan for convenience of those moving on roads of the Federal Capital on March 23 as the Military Parade will take place at Shakarparian Parade Ground in Islamabad to mark 70th Pakistan Day.
According to ITP traffic plan, heavy traffic will not be allowed to enter in premises of Islamabad on March 18, March 20 and March 22 from 12 am to 1 pm.
Likewise, roads from Zero Point to Faizabad, Khana Bridge to Zero Point, Rawal Dam to Faizabad, Shakarparian Road, Helipad road and road to Best Western Picket will remain closed on March 19 and March 23 from 6 am to 1 pm.
On March 23, small vehicles coming from Lahore will use route of Rawat T-Cross and to reach motorway after passing through Rawalpindi Saddar Road and Peshawar GT Road.
Vehicles coming from Airport Rawalpindi will use Expressway and to be diverted from Khana Bridge. They may use Lehtrar Road, Taramri Chowk and Park Road, Rawal Dam Chowk, Murree Road to reach G sectors or Kashmir Highway. Those motorists traveling for Murree may take turn from Kashmir Chowk and travel towards their destination from Bhara Kahu.
Those going to Islamabad Airport or Lahore will use 9th Avenue, Murree Road, Rawal Road and to take right turn from Airport Chowk. The motorists coming from motorway may use Kashmir Highway to move towards Aabpara, Bhara Kahu and Murree.
Faizabad will remain completely close for all type of traffic while Expressway will be also closed from Khana Bridge to Faizabad.
Likewise, Faisal Avenue will be closed from Zero Point to Faizabad and Murree Road to remain close from Rawal Dam Chowk to Faizabad. Only those people will be allowed to move on these roads having permission cards with them.
