Kabul, Afghanistan: Taliban on the evening of August 15, 2021, reestablished the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan after 20 years and ensured full security to foreigners living in Afghanistan in Emirate’s first official statement.

The statement says:

Foreign nationals working in all embassies, diplomatic centers, institutions and facilities will not face any danger under Islamic Emirate.

With full confidence in Kabul, the forces of the Islamic Emirate are tasked with strengthening the security of Kabul and all cities.

We assure all embassies, diplomatic missions, institutions, and residences of foreign nationals in Kabul that no danger is posed to them.

All should be in Kabul with full confidence. The forces of the Islamic Emirate are tasked with maintaining security in Kabul and other cities of the country. The military units of the Islamic Emirate provided security inside the city of Kabul.

The 5th Division of Pul-e-Charkhi was conquered and the advance continued as usual. At the same time, 7 districts of Kabul (Istalif, Surobi, Deh Sabz, Qarabagh, Khak-e-Jabbar, Paghman, Bagrami, Musahi, Chaharasyab, Guldara and Shakardara) were also conquered.

Military units of the Islamic Emirate entered Kabul to provide security. One division conquered in Pul-e-Charkhi area, progress continues normally. The capitals of nine districts of Kabul (Istalif, Surobi, Deh Sabz, Qarabagh, Khak-e-Jabbar, Paghman, Bagrami, Musahi, Chaharasyab, Guldara and Shakardara) were also conquered.
