GAZA: The Israeli military carried out another round of attacks in a second day of violence in Gaza on Saturday after Egyptian-mediated talks failed to extend a 72-hour ceasefire in the month-long war.
The military said that it launched more than 20 aerial attacks in sites in the coastal enclave where the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas are dominant.
The media citing Palestinian witnesses and officials said that two mosques were destroyed and three houses were bombed in the Israeli attacks.
On the other hand, Hamas fired four rockets at towns in Israel’s south. However, no damage or casualties were reported.
