ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) JF-17 Thunder aircraft presented a scintillating aerial display at the culmination of North Thunder Military Exercise held at the King Khalid Military City in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday.
King Salman bin Abdul Aziz along with Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif witnessed the spectacular show.
Besides, heads of states, senior government and military officials from various countries witnessed the aerial display, according to a PAF press release issued here.
It was a momentous occasion when PAF JF-17 Thunder presented the spectacular aerial display in the skies of Saudi Arabia for the first time.
The audience was left spell bound to see the stunning maneuvers of this aircraft, which was flown by Squadron Leader Jawad Gilani.
The formation of PAF K-8 Advanced Jet Trainer Aircraft, commonly known as “Sherdils”, the aerobatics team of Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur also presented some breathtaking aerobatics as it appeared on the horizon spreading various colours.
North Thunder Exercise commenced on February 14, 2016 in Saudi Arabia and Armed Forces of 20 countries participated in the largest military drill in the world.
