JIT report holds 9 police officials responsible for murdering PAT workers in Model Town Police Clash
Lahore: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) comprising of Punjab Police, ISI, MI, IB, Special Branch and Counterterrorism Department in its report holds police official responsible for Model Town Police clash that resulted death of 18 workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on June 17 by the hands of Lahore police. Report also indicates responsibility of administration of Minhajul Quran in the incident and maintained that PAT did not help JIT to find facts.
The JIT held nine police officials responsible for murdering PAT workers. These officials included the than SHO PS Sabza Zar Inspector Sheikh Amir Saleem, Sub Inspector Elite Force Hafiz Athar Mehmood, Head Constable Elite Force Muhammad Naveed, Head Constable Elite Force Khurram Rafique, SP Security Suleman Ali Khan, ex-SHO PS Shadman Sheikh Asim, Constable Elite Force Nisar, Driver/Constable Ubaid and Constable Riaz Baber.
Report also indicates responsibility of administration of Minhajul Quran in the incident and maintained that PAT did not help JIT to find facts.
