2031 jobs in Pakistan Railways to be fulfilled within six months
As many as 2031 jobs in Pakistan Railways are lying vacant, which will be fulfilled within six months, as the Ministry of Railways got its first installment of vacancies on Tuesday.
The ministry will fill 2031 vacant technical posts of different categories ranging from BPS 01 to BPS 11 on the entire system of Pakistan Railways on regular basis. It will fill the posts within six months.
The posts are vacant at different departments including civil engineering, mechanical engineering electrical engineering, transportation, commercial, signal engineering, telecommunication engineering, and workshop division.
Advertisement to be published in newspapers soon about Jobs in Pakistan Railways
The recruitment process will be finalized within 90 days from the date of advertisement.
The Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has resolved to turn Pakistan Railways into a profitable state-run entity.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Rawalpindi-Mianwali train service while the railways minister announced to begin three new trains from next month.
Sheikh Rasheed said that a new train would operate between Lahore and Faisalabad from October 1 while Mohnjodaro Express and Rohi Express trains would be operational from October 16.
