MUMBAI: The Bombay High court has restrained John’s production house from using ‘Hamara Bajaj‘ as the title for his next film.
John Abraham seems to have become controversy’s favorite child. First, his recent film Madras Cafe based on the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi faced a lot of problems and now with his upcoming production Hamara Bajaj, John has landed himself in yet another controversy.
According to the reports, the Bombay High Court sent a notice to the producer-actor restraining him to use the title that is associated with famous automobile firm Bajaj Auto Ltd. The automobile firm had filed a complaint against JA Entertainment Private Limited for using Hamara Bajaj as the title of their film.
The court went in favour of Bajaj Auto Ltd, thus restraining the makers of the film to use Hamara Bajaj as the title or mention it anywhere in the film. The automobile firm used Hamara Bajaj in advertisements featuring its popular scooter brand Chetak.
Hamara Bajaj is directed by Shootjit Sircar and stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gauatam in the lead.
Well we really feel really sorry for John. After all, Hamara Bajaj was indeed a very quirky title. Nevertheless, John will now have to come up with a new title for his upcoming production. Do you have any suggestions peeps?
