ISLAMABAD: Four lawmakers including two from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) on Thursday joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal cabinet as three of them took oath of their offices in Islamabad on Thursday as federal ministers, while one as minister of state.
President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath to them at a simple ceremony held at Aiwan e Sadr in Islamabad.
The federal ministers include JUI-F’s Muhammad Akram Khan Durrani‚ Abbas Khan Afridi and PML-N’s Khurram Dastgir while the one minister of state is JUI-F’s Abdul Ghafoor Haidri.
The portfolio of the newly inducted ministers will be announced later on.
