Kabul supporting terrorists to destabilise Pakistan
Islamabad, Pakistan: “Pakistan has every right to fence its borders with Afghanistan and install gates to control influx of terrorists from Afghanistan.
Certain countries are encouraging Afghan Armed forces to attack Pakistani troops at Torkham border and firing initiated by Afghan forces at Torkham Check post confirmed that Kabul was not ready to support Pakistan to stop entry of terrorists from Afghanistan. It may be mentioned that nine civilians and one soldier of Pakistan Army was injured by the firing of Afghan Armed forces inside Pakistan.
Investigation of all major terror attacks that took place in Pakistan including one of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar confirmed that terrorists came to Pakistan from Afghanistan where the leadership of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is living. As many as 140 innocent school children were massacred in APS terror attack and terrorists came from Afghanistan via Torkham Border.
Kabul is indirectly helping terrorists by not allowing Pakistan to control border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan because these border crossings are main source of entry of terrorists to Pakistan.
Afghanistan is apparently playing in the hands of enemies of Pakistan and collaboration between Indian intelligence agency RAW and Afghan intelligence agency NDS was exposed when Pakistan arrested a number of RAW and NDS operatives who had been involved in act of terrorism in Baluchistan. Pakistan arrested in-service NDS and RAW officials from Baluchistan but the government of President Ashraf Ghani did not stop influx of terrorists and spies and it looked that Afghan government with the active support of India wanted to destabilise Pakistan”.
These were observation of participants in one of the most popular PTV Current Affairs show “Khabar Kay Sath Sath” on Monday June 13, 2016. The show was hosted and anchored by Naheed Chaudhary while senior journalists Tariq Mehmood Chaudhary, Rana Qaisar and Agha Iqrar Haroon were present as experts.
Participants of show believed that Afghan government was crossing red line and its motives to destabilise Pakistan were exposed by the fact that it had always refused to take action against TTP leadership living inside Afghanistan and was not allowing Pakistan to man border crossings effectively to check and stop influx terrorists coming from Afghanistan.
Participants cited that terrorists came from Afghanistan to kill Pakistanis and Pakistan had credible information that terrorists were receiving instructions, financial and logistic support within Afghanistan for conducting terrorism in Pakistan.
They said incidents of attacking recreational park in Allama Iqbal Town Lahore, APS in Peshawar, PAF air base near Peshawar and many such incidents were had directly link elements living inside Afghanistan.
Participants were of the view that world must wake up and support Pakistan in its fight against terrorism instead of supporting Afghan government and blaming Pakistan always.
