Kamyab Jawan Loan Increased
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday accorded an approval to enhance the upper limit of loan stipulated for the youth under the Kamyab Jawan Program, a significant decision aimed at providing further business opportunities to the young entrepreneurs.
In a meeting held in Islamabad between the prime minister and his Advisor on Finance Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and his Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar, it was decided that now the youth would avail loans up to Rs 25 million instead of Rs 5 million under the Kamyab Jawan Program.
It was also decided to reduce the applicable markup rate from eight percent.

The prime minister also gave his approval to include all banks throughout Pakistan in the Kamyab Jawan Program.
Imran Khan directed to accelerate the process of loan disbursement among the youth as soon as the situation affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) returns to normalcy. He said that the youth is a precious asset of the country, and they must be offered further opportunities so that they could initiate their businesses.
