KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Friday that the operation against criminals in Karachi will continue till their complete elimination.
In his address to the award distribution ceremony of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Friday, the prime minister said that Karachi is commercial hub of the country thus the government could not ignore its peace to ensure sustainable economic activities.
On the occasion, the prime minister distributed awards among traders for best performance in their respective fields.
Earlier in the day, the prime minister arrived in Karachi on a day-long visit to chair a high level meeting to review law and order situation in the metropolis.
The sources said that Director General Sindh Rangers would brief the prime minister about the targeted operation underway in the city at the Governor’s House.
