BUENOS AIRES: Argentina: To express solidarity with the oppressed people in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), a meeting was held at Buenos Aires on Kashmir Black Day, which was attended by people from different walks of life including Pakistani families.
It was proceeded by a photo exhibition depicting Indian brutalities against the innocent Kashmiris and their resolve to continue with the struggle for right to self-determination.
Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Khalid Ejaz highlighted the grave human rights violations of the Indian security forces in IIOJK.
Dr. Ejaz asked the Pakistani community to reach out to the human rights groups in Argentina with a view to apprise them about the humanitarian crisis in IOJK.
The ambassador called on the conscientious people of Argentina to raise their voice against Indian efforts to change the demography of Kashmir with a view to deny the right to self-determination to the Kashmiris.
Dr. Ejaz appreciated Argentina’s participation in the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan.
The speakers condemned Indian atrocities in IIOJK in the strongest terms.
The messages of President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif were also read out on the occasion.
