ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan His Excellency Akan Rakhmetullin visited the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) in Islamabad on Monday and met its President Major General (retd) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery.
During the meeting, matters of mutual cooperation in various fields including in tourism, economy and media presence were discussed. Besides, future collaborations in the field of education and promoting cultural exchange were also scrutinized.
The Kazakh ambassador appreciated CGSS’s efforts in national and international partnerships as well as Center’s efforts to promote bilateral ties between Pakistan and the Central Asian Countries.
It was decided that CGSS will jointly work with the Embassy of Kazakhstan for strengthening bilateral ties and initiating projects in the fields of research, analysis and cultural sphere.
The meeting was also attended by the Counselor at the Embassy of Kazakhstan Mr. Arman Tynybek, the former Federal Secretary of Information and Senior Member Advisory Board CGSS Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Gondal, the Executive Director CGSS Lt Colonel (retd) Khalid Taimur Akram, and the Director CGSS Ms. Mehreen Gul.
