HAVELIAN, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday said the people would give vote to the politics of service, development and decency which were the hallmark of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and not those who mere resort to rhetoric.
While addressing a Ceremony after visiting Havelian-Thakot Motorway Project, the prime minister said the people would vote in the general elections to be held on July 25 keeping in view the performance of parties.
Khaqan Abbasi said the day was not far when all the motorway projects from Gwadar and Khunjerab would come to completion which would significantly reduce the travel time. He said connectivity projects given by the present government would usher a new era of development in the Country.
The prime minister said it was the revolution that the PML-N government brought in the Country. He said it was the first government which not only initiated projects but also completed them in its tenure.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said besides road infrastructure projects, they had also brought improvements in all the other sectors including education and health.
Talking about the Havelian-Thakot Motorway Project, the prime minister said it was not an ordinary project but PC-1 of the project costs Rs 142 billion.
The construction of 120 kilometer-long Havelian-Thakot Motorway started in 2017. It is an important part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and runs through Havelian, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Shinkiari and Thakot.
