NOWSHEHRA: A protest session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will be called in Islamabad against the US drone strike in Hangu district that left at least six persons dead last week, the provincial Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said.

Talking to media representatives in Nowshehra, the KPK Chief Minister said that a plan has been finalized for protest against drone strike in Hangu, adding that a letter will be mailed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for raising this issue in the UN Security Council.

The KPK Chief Minister said that we will stage a sit-in in front of the Parliament House and will submit memorandums to the US and UN missions in Islamabad.

Khattak further said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led sit-in protest against drone strikes and to block NATO supply will continue. However, he added, no one will be allowed to take law in hand.
