PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) resolution on new province Hazara has started a new debate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly (KPK).
Issue of new provinces has turned alive once again in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when ruling party Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf submitted a resolution on Hazara province.
An advisor to Chief Minister of KPK Pervaiz Khattak and elected MPA from Abbotabad, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, said in the assembly that formation of Hazara province is a matter of life and death for them.
The ANP showed first response over Hazara province’s demand by raising their claim over Punjab areas Mianwali and Attock once again.
An ally in KP’s ruling coalition Qaumi Watan Party of Aftab Sherpao responded with demand of Malakand province in the assembly.
The analysts have said in their opinion, over different political parties’ reactions towards demand of Hazara province, that they are concerned about their political interests under issue of new provinces, instead of trying to solve real problems of the public.
