PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday consented to withdraw Pakistan army from Swat and Malakand Division.
“The army deployed in Swat and Malakand will start withdrawing next month,” Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said.
Khattak said that the withdrawal of troops will begin from Buner and Shangla first.
The sources said that Khattak has also sent a summary to the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Shaukatullah Khan in this regard.
