PESHAWAR: A resolution was adopted unanimously by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Friday seeking the creation of Hazara province and demanding a commission to be set up for the creation of new provinces including Hazara province.
The provincial lawmaker belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sardar Idrees presented the resolution.
The Awami National Party (ANP) lawmaker Sardar Hussain Babak and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) lawmaker Nighat Orakzai opposed the resolution.
