ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Candidates contesting for seats of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Councillor were making last ditch efforts to garner the public support.
According to a report of Radio Pakistan, Electioneering was in full swing in Punjab and Sindh provinces for the third phase of local government elections to be held on Saturday.
Candidates contesting for the seats of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Councillor were working untiringly and holding door to door canvassing, corner meetings and rallies to gather the public support.
A great enthusiasm was being witnessed in the concerned constituencies.
Polling will be held in twelve districts of Punjab with final phase including Layyah, Rajanpur, DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rawalpindi, Jhang, Khushab, Multan, Sialkot, Narowal, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur.
In sixteen union councils of Rawalpindi, polls have been delayed due to court’s intervention.
Similarly, in Sindh, polling will be held in Karachi West, Karachi East, Karachi South, Karachi Central, Korangi and Malir.
