RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Lieutenant General Amir Riaz has been appointed as the President National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad while Lieutenant General Majid Ahsan has been appointed as the Corps Commander Lahore.
In a press release on Monday, the Inter Services Public Relations (IPSR) announced the appointments and transfers in Pakistan army.
The IPSR said that Lt General Amir Riaz has been appointed as President NDU whereas Lt General Majid Ahsan has been appointed as the Corps Commander Lahore.
Meanwhile, the Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor in a message on his personnel twitter account underlined the importance of unity among the nation to ensure a prosperous and peaceful Pakistan.
The director general ISPR said that we as a resilient nation faced multiple challenges with huge courage and grace. He said that now it’s time to further move ahead and prevail in every sphere of life.
