KARACHI: The banned Lyari Aman Committee leader Zafar Baloch was killed along with his security guard when unknown gunmen opened fire on his vehicle at Bizenjo Chowk in Karachi on Wednesday night.
The sources said that eight unidentified gunmen riding on four motorcycles opened fire on Zafar Baloch’s vehicle at Bizenjo Chowk on Wednesday night and managed to flee. Baloch was taken to a hospital for treatment but he succumbed to his injuries.
Tension and fear gripped Lyari after the attack as shops and business centers were immediately closed.
