KAULA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak announced on Monday that according to a new analysis of satellite data, the missing Malaysia Airlines plane crashed in the Southern Indian Ocean, killing all people on board.

On March 8, a Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew vanished from radars while it was on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

“It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that according to this new data, flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean,” the Malaysian prime minister announced.

Meanwhile, Malaysian airlines said that flight MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board have survived.

“We deeply regret that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board have survived.. we must now accept all evidence suggests that plane went down in the Southern Indian Ocean,” a statement from Malaysia airlines said.

The airline has informed the relatives of those on board the doomed flight that the plane is lost with no survivors.
