ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Special Envoy to the Malaysian Prime Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Marzuki Yahya arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Friday, and met the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
During the meeting, Pakistan-Malaysia bilateral relations and issues of mutual interests including the regional situation came under discussion.
The Malaysian deputy foreign minister apprised Shah Mahmood Qureshi about the details of “Kuala Lumpur Conference” to be held in Malaysia next month.
Qureshi assured Pakistan’s full support to Malaysia in organizing the “Kuala Lumpur Conference” in an effective manner.
Furthermore, the foreign minister briefed the Malaysian deputy foreign minister about the worst human rights violations being committed by the Indian forces in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir since August 5 and the latest situation in the besieged valley.
The foreign minister said that the way Malaysia raised the voice against Indian atrocities in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir was commendable.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed gratitude to Malaysia for its unwavering support of Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue.
