ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday said the report compiled by the six-member Joint Investigation Team (JTI) formed in Panama Papers Case was a pack of lies and failed to provide any evidence.
Talking to media representatives in Islamabad, the state minister said a bankrupt Company of London was brought to give evidences against the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said when the Court asked the JIT Head Wajid Zia to bring the arrangement of papers in order, his health deteriorated.
The information minister said Nawaz Sharif was saying that give respect to vote. She said an elected prime minister was ousted on the basis of ‘Iqama’ and disorderly proofs.
The minister said it was a matter of great concern and needed to be pondered.
Marriyum said the entire nation was backing the narrative of ‘give respective to vote’, adding the Judge of the Accountability Court was also striving for the sanctity of the vote.
