The ongoing election fever in the country has forced Lollywood heartthrobs including Meera and Laila, to jump into the field of politics. Meera has plans for becoming Punjab Assembly member on one of the reserved seats for women claimed by Meera’s mother Shafqat Zehra.
“Yesterday Meera telephoned me from Indiaand asked ‘mom please get nomination paper as I want to be elected’,” Said Meera’s mother. On the other hand, Laila said she will contest elections on a general seat from Lahore.
