ISLAMABAD: Meeting under the leadership of Chief  Election Commission Fakhurdin G Ibrahim has started to decide the name of Interim Prime Minister of Pakistan. It may be mentioned that political parties have failed to decide the name of Interim of Prime Minister and now the name of Interim Prime Minister name will be decided by  Election Commission under the parametres given by the constitution.
Pakistan is one of the rear countries where the appointment of Interim Prime Minister is decided by the Election Commission if political parties fail to have consensus on one name for this slot.
Meeting will select the caretaker prime minister from the list of four — Justice (retd) Nasir Aslam Zahid, Justice (retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, Dr Ishrat Hussain and Rasool Bakhsh Palejo. These names are giving by opposition and treasury benches.
