MIRANSHAH: At least nine militants were killed as security forces repulsed an attack on a check post in Miranshah, the main town in the North Waziristan tribal region, military sources said on Monday.
The military sources further said that soldiers were injured due to blast of an improvised explosive device (IED) planted on the roadside by the terrorists on Tank-Tandolar road in South Waziristan.
