QUETTA: A 16-inch diameter gas pipeline was blown up by suspected militants in the Pir Koh area of Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district on Wednesday that led to the suspension of gas supply to Sui purification plant, media citing an unnamed official reported.
The Frontier Corps personnel reached the spot and cordoned off the area to launch a probe into the incident.
The official said that repair of the gas pipeline would take a couple of days.
