ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In Punjab, more than 1.25 Crore people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in just 16 days under the Reach Every Door (RED) Campaign, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said.
In a Tweet on Monday, Asad Umar felicitated the Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the Chief Secretary, and the Provincial Health Team for a highly successful RED Campaign.
The minister said that there were 22,000 people involved in carrying out the massive campaign.

The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar had launched the Massive COVID Vaccination Drive on October 25 in all 36 provincial districts, one of the biggest vaccination drives ever to ensure every person eligible gets vaccinated.
To make the RED Vaccination Campaign a success, the Punjab Health Department had established 14,000 new Vaccination Centres across the province along with more than 12,000 mobile teams visiting every neighborhood and village to socially mobilize the public.
The RED Campaign was linked with the ratio of Coronavirus vaccination in their respective districts.
Meanwhile, a significant decline in infection of Coronavirus is being witnessed in the Country.
The National Command and Operation Center’s (NCOC) statistics released on Monday revealed that six people died of COVID-19 across the Country on Sunday and 240 new Coronavirus Cases were reported with a positivity ratio of 0.73 percent.
