DUBAI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) may join Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)-led Sindh government as MQM’s leaders overnight reached Dubai for negotiations with the leaders of PPP in connection with the broad-based cooperation in the province, sources said.
Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Adil Siddiqui, Babar Ghaur and Deputy Convener Nadem Nusrat from London arrived in Dubai at the directives of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.
The sources said that former interior minister Rehman A Malik will also attend this meeting, adding that leaders from the two parties will discuss the prospects of the MQM to join hands with the government in Sindh.
