ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution moved by Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) lawmaker Syed Naveed Qamar, urging the government not to retrench employees from any department.
The minister of state for parliamentary affairs Sheikh Aftab while speaking on the resolution said that it is the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to eradicate unemployment from the country.
The state minister made it clear that the government is not considering retrenching employees from the public sector department. However, he said, this could not be said about those institutions which have financially collapsed.
