RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that the nation will pay tribute to its Martyrs and their families on Defence Day.
The Defence Day is celebrated annually on September 6 as a national day to commemorate in the memory of Pakistan’s successful defence against India that marked the ceasefire in the 1965 war.
The director general ISPR said that Defense Day will be observed in a new manner to present tribute to martyres of THE motherland. He said that every Pakistani should become part of nationwide campaign.
“Every Pakistani will IA be part of this unique campaign reaching out to their families, home, street, mohalla, village, city, province & place of Martyrdom,” the director general ISPR said.
“Lets salute their sacrifice,” he said.
