RAWALPINDI: The nomination papers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan were accepted on Sunday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
Nisar’s papers were accepted from the constituency of NA-52 Rawalpindi and Nawaz’s from NA-120 Lahore.The nomination papers of Shahbaz Sharif’s son Hamza Shahbaz and of Ayesha Ahad were also accepted for NA-199 constituency in Lahore.
Earlier during the day, former president general (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s nomination papers for the constituency of NA-250 Karachi were rejected by the commission.
