ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif left for New York on Sunday to lead Pakistan’s delegation at the UN General Assembly’s session.
The PM will address the General Assembly on Friday in which he will highlight Pakistan’s foreign policy guidelines on various regional and international issues besides domestic priorities.
He will also apprise the session on the efforts of the government to curb terrorism and bring stability to the region.
Speaking at Chaklala Airbase before his departure for New York on Sunday‚ the Prime Minister said that he will discuss promotion of economic and trade ties during his meetings with the world leaders on the sideline of the General Assembly session in New York.
He said that Pakistan is a peace loving country and wants to have good relations with all the neighboring countries including India for maintenance of peace in the region.
