LAHORE: An airplane with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif on board made an emergency landing on Friday when the aircraft’s windscreen cracked midair.
The pilot told air traffic control that the aircraft’s windscreen had cracked mid-flight at a height of 9,000 kms, aviation officials said. The plane, en route from Quetta to Hasilpur, eventually made an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Along with the PML-N chief at least twelve other people were reported to be onboard. No injuries were reported.
