ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: So far 9,895,700 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 across Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio continues to decline as it stood at 2.54% on June 8.
The statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday morning showed that 335,790 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered across the Country on June 8.
Besides, 43,900 COVID-19 tests were conducted across the Country on June 8, and 1,118 of them returned positive with a ratio of 2.54%.
The Country also suffered 77 more deaths yesterday; thus, now the total number of fatalities caused by the virus has risen to 21,453.
In the last 24 hours, 48 people died of Coronavirus in Punjab, 20 in Sindh, 6 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 in Balochistan.

So far, the Country has recorded a total of 936,131 Coronavirus Cases. Of them, 343,031 Cases have been registered in Punjab, 325,110 in Sindh, 134,928 in KPK, 81,871 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 25,961 in Balochistan, 19,566 in AJK, and 5,664 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In addition to that, out of 21,453 COVID-19 deaths recorded so far in the Country, Punjab has suffered 10,397 deaths, Sindh 5,164, KPK 4,170, ICT 766, AJK 558, Balochistan 291, and Gilgit-Baltistan 107.
To date, 869,691 patients have recovered from the infection in the Country while 44,987 patients still remain under treatment.
