ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Tuesday approved Rs 1 per unit decrease in electricity price.
The price has been decreased in terms of monthly fuel adjustment charges after tariff review meeting in Islamabad. The Central Power Purchase Agency briefed the meeting about electricity purchase.
The Chairman NEPRA said that production cost of electricity has decreased in the country and in future more cheap electricity will be added in the system.
The decrease in price will be compensated in next month consumers’ bills.
